LA Tech Professor and #BCCNL President Vitus Shell breakdowns My Four P's - A Guide To Surviving The Arts on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 1:30 pm.
The workshop is an inside look at how Shell has long used a crafted system to navigate the art world. The workshop will give participants in all fields of the arts inside advice from Shell's 22 years of experience.
During the workshop, participants will provide insight into their personal journey, values, and goals allowing Shell to help attendees focus on their strengths and weaknesses.
THE SHOP is open to all creatives no matter what field: visual, literary, performance, or culinary.

About The Instructor:
Vitus Shell is a mixed-media collage painter born in Monroe, LA, where he lives and works. He received a BFA from Memphis College of Art in 2000 and an MFA from the University of Mississippi in 2008.
Vitus Shell has been in residence at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, Anderson Ranch Art Center, Hermitage Artist Retreat, Joan Mitchell Center, Skowhegan School of Art, and many more. Shell has accumulated impressive achievements such as the 2022 Louisianian Artist of the Year.
Shell has participated in numerous exhibits at universities, museums, and private galleries across many states; been the recipient of many grants to further his work, and you can find his mural paintings all over the country.
Vitus Shell is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at Louisiana Tech University.
